THE STAFF
Even the best lawyer cannot hope to be effective without strong staff support. At Malott, our staff is small, but brings more than 50 years’ combined experience to the job.

Susan L. Gibson: Susan joined Malott in 2002 after working in litigation firms in Houston and Albuquerque since 1976. She is certified as a Professional Legal Secretary ( PLS ) and a Certified Legal Assistant ( CLA ), credentials shared by less than 5% of Legal Assistants nationwide. She is formerly an officer of the Greater Houston Hunter Jumper Association and the Albuquerque Association of Legal Professionals.

Linda E. Malott: Linda started as a wordprocessor for an Albuquerque litigation firm in 1979. She was the only one who could read Alan’s handwriting, so she was assigned as his first legal secretary. They were married in 1981 and have two sons.

HOW WE WORK
Every case is different because every client is an individual. We make it a point to focus our representation efforts on what will best meet each client’s needs; legal solutions are not “one size fits all.”

Therefore, we always meet personally with prospective clients. We do not “pass you off” even to our experienced assistants. Once we have thoroughly discussed your case and answered your questions, we can all decide how to proceed.

Our fees are usually based upon a percentage of your recovery. There is never a charge for the first consultation. Fee Agreements are always in writing.

WHAT WE DO
- We do our best to quickly and fully advance your case.
- We do keep you advised as your case progresses.
- We do return phone calls, etc.

WHAT WE DON’T DO
- We don’t run an injury mill or factory fed by questionable cases. You are not just another “file” at Malott Law.
- We don’t ignore your phone calls, questions or your interim needs.
- We don’t settle cases without a client’s full consent and understanding.
- We don’t pass you off to other lawyers or ignore your case.
