Alan M. Malott: A 1979 graduate of both Loyola University Law School and The University of New Mexico School of Law, Mr. Malott is certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, one of only about two dozen in New Mexico. He limits his practice to the litigation of personal injury claims, insurance company and HMO misconduct, products liability and professional negligence/malpractice cases. Alan has successfully handled cases against all the large insurance companies as well as numerous large corporations. See: Azar -vs- Wal Mart, Barncastle -vs- ANPAC, Garcia & Soberanez -vs- Progressive Insurance, amongst many others. Alan is also licensed to practice law in Colorado. A member of the Board of Directors of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association, he is also active in the State Bar of New Mexico and is a part time instructor at Central New Mexico Community College. He also still plays with cars! |

Bertrand R. Parnall: After earning his undergraduate degree from Rice University in 1993, Bert returned to New Mexico for law school where he graduated on the Honor Roll and passed the bar in 1997. After internships at Legal Aid, the US District Court for New Mexico, and private contract work, he served as a Senior Trial Prosecutor in Valencia County from 2000 - 2004. He re-entered private practice in Albuquerque in 2005 and joined us a year later. After working up the courage to ask Miss New Mexico 2001, Marta Strzyzewski, to marry him, Bert and Marta make their home in Bosque Farms. Bert is also a member of the Rotary Club of Albuquerque, New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association, and H. Vearle Payne Inns of Court, as well as a Board Member of New Mexico Judo Inc; he has a 2nd degree Black Belt in Judo, so mind your manners! Bert has significant Trial experience in both criminal and civil cases and will be working in these areas at Malott Law. |
